I am about 150 pages into Step on a Crack and loving it. Great characters and a real fun story. I just finished Witch and Wizard (loved), the first two Max Manga (loved) and Alex's Cross's Trial (jury is still out). Trial is a well written, brutal descriptions (but honest), but misleading throwing Alex Cross in to the first chapter just cause...
I will continue with Michael Bennett after Fang.

Liam Neeson - second choice for Michael Bennett but Gerard Butler would be best choice if he can pull off the gentleness in the home setting with the kids....

In a movie about Michael Bennett. I think either Brendan Gleeson or Liam Neeson could play Mike. And I think Brian Dennehy should play Mikes dad

Diane if you look at the top of this page for JP.com and click, then look at the tabs at the top of this page you will see a tab for "BOOKS." You will find a listing of all books, or listings for each of the series. There are only two Michael Bennett books, Step on a Crack, and Run for Your Life.. Although there is another Michael Bennett book due out February 1, Worst Case. Cannot hardly wait for this book to come out. On another subject, I just finished Alex Cross' s Trial. Anyone read that one? Not one of my favorite. So not an Alex Cross book.

I agree with your comments about the Michael Bennett series, their is a big window of oppurtunity for JP this could be a great series like Alex Cross.

Getting really excited about these James Patterson up-coming movies! This is a series I sure do hope will continue. The first two books were very enjoyable. Who will play Michael Bennett? Who will play Michael's father? And the children, wow! Ten young actors . . . there are so many good young actors out there right now. Each of these characters are very special and need to have some really, really good young-un playing their parts. As for Michael Bennet, I see Gerard Butler! Michael Bennett is a very smart, very loving and caring man who is serious about doing his job to the best of his ability and making life safer for his family. Michael Bennett has a sense of humor (I mean the man does have 10 children!) , and sense of high standards for himself and also for his children. Gerard Butler could very well fill these shoes. Now, for his father? Well, for some reason I see Ralph Waite and that just may be because I have seen him on NCIS and Bones lately (two of my favorites). But he is one fine actor and could truly pull this off. It's really hard to get a great fill for the Michael Bennett series' characters, for me anyway, since there are only two books at this time. I look forward to reading more about this family and seeing a little more into the family life and getting to know this family and intimately as we know the Cross family.
