Sorry it took so long for me to reply to your question about my books...I lost the thread...hehe. I left this reply on the forum for you but then thought you might have lost it too. lol
Out of the top section of books I listed, I really recommend Daniel Kalla's thrillers. I think he has 7 or so and they are excellent!
Out of my titles, it depends on what you're looking for. If you like a softer more emotional story with a hint of mystery, definitely read Whale Song. It's my "heart book" for so many reasons. It's been compared to works by Jodi Picoult and Luanne Rice.
But if you prefer more of a thriller, Divine Intervention and The River would suit you. Divine Intervention is a paranormal suspense with some really interesting characters. It's about a group of psychic investigators searching for a serial arsonist. The River is the one that was compared to James Patterson's work (by a fan), and also Michael Crichton and Dean Koontz. I thought that was such a perfect and interesting mix to be compared to. :)
The River takes place in a very mysterious area of Canada's north--the Nahanni River. It's a mix of conspiracy thriller, techno-thriller and adventure and I love the characters. Interesting side-story...I was contacted last year by a woman who had the same name as my main character in The River--Del Hawthorne. :) It was so weird...and quite funny.
Thanks for the interest and please let me know how your book swap goes. Oh, and what do you write? :)
