Welcome all to the Nana Mama's Recipe Exchange Group.
Reading the Cross series you will know that Nana is a great cook.
She loves to cook for her family.
So this is our way to bring her love for her family, friends, and of course her love of cooking here for us to share as well.
When POSTING a new recipe you take the same steps above.
Once you click on View all look for the discussion that fits your recipe.
For example if you want to post a recipe for sweet potatoes.
You would look for the discussion name Potatoes.
Click on that
Once you open the page you will see a box that says Reply to This
Post your recipe there. When done click on add reply.
I will be featuring a recipe from time to time on here.
If you have tried any of the recipes on this site we would love to hear your comments.
I have made a discussion name Review The Recipes Here for this reason.
You can find this the same way you would a recipe.
If there's a discussion you are looking for and it has not been started please leave a comment on the first page of our group and I would be more than happy to start it for you = )
If recipes are not posted in their appropriate place I will move them so it would be easier for us to find at a later date = )
Sorry if this is a little to long but I know that if we all follow the steps here we can make this work.
If you have any new ideas for the site please let me know. I could use all the help I can lol
Now stop reading this and go post recipes = )
OUR FEATURED RECIPE IS FROM CAROLE
Southwestern Corn n Cheese Dip
1 can of Southwestern Corn
8 oz Mexican prepared cheese product with jalapeño peppers (Cubed)
2 Tbs sliced green onions or chopped fresh cilantro, if desired
1 can black beans (rinse and drain) - can omitt
8 oz tortilla chips
Drain the liquid from the corn into a saucepan, add the cheese. Heat over medium heat until melted, then add the corn, and black beans if desired. Heat until warm. Sprinkle with green onions or cilanto. Serve warm with chips.
** Note, you can use other cheese, add sausa for the kick, but you must drain the corn. You can also just add crushed red pepper if using plain cheese -- depending on how much of a kick you want.
