I think that award would have to go to either the Anita Blake series or the Dresden Files. As much as I love WMC, it's not the best series of all time. I'm only on the second Alex Cross book.

nope, well 1-3 are good (not great) but 4-5 are awful

I think The Alex Cross seris is the best. I have read all of them . Every once in awhile ; I`ll pull them out to reread them.

I, Alex Cross came after Alex Cross's Trial, but Trial could really be read at any time because it is more of a standalone story about Alex's great-grandfather.
