It was out in the Netherlands three weeks ago. I finished it on the plane on my way to the states. The book is great

I just finished I, Alex Cross and once again James Patterson is the master of twists and turns. I absolutely loved it, probably the best one yet. I am curious if anyone thinks the "showdown" will finally take place in the next novel? If u finished the book you'll know what i'm referring to. Any comments to this?

Yes, I know what you're talking about, no it won't happen, he has to keep up loyal fans coming back. I would love for it to happen. I see a few more books before it does. I have to agree, this was one of the best yet.

I don't think JP will conclude the showdown just yet. IMO, I think the best way to end the showdown would be to create a supernovel, where the "Suspect" is fleeing between D.C., SF, and NYC, and Alex joins up with Lindsay Boxer and Michael Bennett to track down this infamous character that has taken us for such a wild ride. What do you think??
