Who Should Play Alex Cross?

I thing Morgan is a great actor but is much to old to play Cross. While reading I always pictured a Denzel type to play the role.

I totally agree. I always pictured Denzel too. I think he would make an awesome Alex Cross. I would like to see an actor more suited to play John too.

Funny bc he has already portayed a literary character-Lincoln Rhymes from author Jeffrey Deaver. So I don't see him as Alex Cross. Maybe Terrence? (was in Ironman) or Laurence Fishbourne w/Michael Duncan Clark as Samspson????

I always picture Cross as a mixture between Morgan Freeman and Will Smith, which just screams Denzel!!

Yes, you are right. I believe the best man to play John would be the actore who was the prisoner in The Green Mile, can't remember his name. Someone help with that please.

I am thinking Blair Underwood would be great as Alex Cross he is the right age, and nice on the eyes too! Also he is a great actor and highly overlooked, I love Denzel but I just do not picture him as Cross, maybe Sampson for Denzel, he is bigger than Underwood. Morgan Freeman is a great actor but too old, and I always thought Cross should have been better looking . I think Blair is the man who can do justice to Alex Cross! Denzel for Sampson, what a great pair that would be!

Yes Rhonda I would have to agree with you there on Blair Underwood...But I think Denzel would over-shadow Blair...

I agree with Rhonda. I've always pictured Blair Underwood as Alex Cross. And personally I think Laurence Fishbourne would make a great Sampson.

I agree with you-but I think Michael Clarke Duncan (of the Green Mile) would be the perfect man to play Sampson.
